Sweet Savante Wafers

Directions

  1. On a chopping board, cut the Savante wraps lengthwise into thin strips (approximately 1 ½ inch wide) and divide each lengthwise strip into half.
  2. Simultaneously, heat the Vegetable Oil in a deep fry pan. Ensure the oil is hot before frying the strips.
  3. Once the oil is heated, drop the strips of Savante Wraps into the oil and gently fry the strips while turning continuously with tongs. Fry strips over low flame.
  4. Fry the strips till golden brown and then place them on an absorbent paper.
  5. Once cooled, cover each strip with icing sugar.
  6. Serve with your favorite dessert (particularly tastes well with chocolate mousse).
